What do you enjoy about working in your industry? The thing I enjoy the most is helping companies run more efficiently, and I also like overcoming the challenges that emerge along the way. Additionally, having the opportunity to work with a variety of different company verticals and leadership roles are both added benefits of being in my industry.
What motivates you to come into work every day? Primarily, I am motivated by our team atSuiteCentricand our ability to deliver solutions that help companies succeed. And, the process of solution architecting using NetSuite's robust platform is another motivator because I've seen it operate at a high level on a global scale. Everything is possible when NetSuite is implemented properly, and I get excited when I can educate business leaders and companies about why it's such a solid investment.
How do you spend your spare time outside of work? Right now, I'm thoroughly enjoying the precious time I get to spend with my wife and two boys. We have fun playing board games, video games, playing sports, and going fishing when it's safe to do so. Getting quality time with my family is my favorite way to spend time outside of the office.
If you could eat dinner with any historical figure/celebrity, alive or dead, who would it be, and why? I would have to say it's a tie between Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla. For Einstein, I would love to have a conversation with him about space and time, and his Theory of Relativity because he was able to comprehend so much with so little technology. Tesla is another genius who was ahead of his time. He wrote about and worked on wireless communication and power transmitters in the 1890s with the Wardenclyffe Tower project. It would be fascinating to ask him about these projects and his life's work.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Growing up, I wanted to be a professional sport fisherman. I thought that way for a while until I decided not to make my favorite hobby into a job. Luckily, I've passed this interest down to my boys, and we really enjoy fishing together.
